What is "sako medis"?

It's nature-inspired carpentry, made in Lithuania – born from a love for solid wood and unique design.

The vision is simple: our living spaces should not be filled with lifeless objects. Instead, they should reflect who we are – our character, our connection to nature, and our appreciation for quality.

My name is Elias, a carpenter from Germany, now living and creating in Lithuania.

I love wood, and I’m passionate about cooking. That’s how the desire to create durable, aesthetic cutting boards was born.

Using the end-grain method reveals the full character and beauty of the tree. I arrange the growth rings and shades of color into unique patterns, like a puzzle.

Looking at the composition, it feels as if every tree is an artist. What a joy it is to reveal that beauty – and to slice a fresh tomato on it.
