Solid wood furniture
My approach
Furniture is something very personal. The bed that we every night sleep in, table that we eat at, cabinets where we store our everyday things. The pieces we choose shape the feeling of our homes. Day by day we are living with them.
Nowadays, furniture is often influenced by short-lived trends. Pieces are expected to be inexpensive and easily replaced once styles change. I believe it is time to leave this mindset behind.
My approach is that furniture should be made to last. It can express who you are and bring a sense of nature into your home. Natural shapes and personal taste often turn out to be timeless. Well-crafted pieces also age beautifully – a solid wood table can last for generations. Choosing such furniture is a choice for authenticity and sustainability.

Solid wood
Solid wood is the clear choice over particle board. Working with it requires more knowledge and care, as it’s a living material that naturally shrinks and expands. Good design and craftsmanship must take these natural movements into account.
But the effort is worth it. Solid wood brings character, structural strength, and longevity to furniture. Unlike particle boards, damage can often be repaired, and worn surfaces can be refinished, giving the piece a new life.
Solid wood is also a healthier choice. Particle boards typically contain around ten percent non-natural components, mostly adhesives, that may release volatile compounds. Solid wood furniture contains no such binders and brings a more natural, healthier presence into the home.

Unique design
I have developed some of my own design patterns, features, and details that I love, but I’m always excited to bring your ideas to life. Together, we’ll explore the possibilities and find a design that reflects your style. The result? Furniture that is truly unique.

Handcrafted details
I’m particularly fascinated by traditional joinery, where craftsmanship becomes visible. Dovetails and other classic joints are not only incredibly strong, but they also create beautiful details that immediately catch the eye.
These timeless techniques work just as well in modern, minimalist designs as they do in more solid and robust pieces, adding character that cannot be replicated by mass-production methods.

Lasting
With a little care, my furniture will accompany you for many years. And if it ever needs refreshing or repair, I’ll be happy to help bring it back to life.
